John D. FitzGerald is a health service researcher whose research includes 1) patient outcomes and policy implications for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery; 2) Gout; 3) Musculoskeletal Ultrasound applications in Rheumatology.
Dr. FitzGerald completed his medical school at Tufts University in 1993. He completed his medical residency training at UCLA in 1996. Dr. FitzGerald served as Chief Medical Resident prior to doing a specialty fellowship in Rheumatology.
Since 1999, Dr. FitzGerald has been a faculty member in the Division of Rheumatology.
