    About Me

Timothy Donahue, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Surgery, and Molecular and Medical Pharmacology. He is also a member of the UCLA Center for Pancreatic Diseases. Dr. Donahue received his M.D. from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern and completed his surgical training at UCLA. He specializes in pancreatic and abdominal laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Donahue also runs an active research laboratory. He is a member of the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and Institute for Molecular Medicine at UCLA. His laboratory focuses on the molecular genetics of pancreatic cancer. He is particularly interested in identifying novel molecular markers to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer. He is also collaborating with a number of researchers across UCLA to develop improved imaging and treatment strategies for his patients. His research program is supported by grants from many national foundations.
