Welcome to the UCLA Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program

UCLA’s Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program is an internationally renowned leader providing state of the art comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services and holistic medical care to patients with pulmonary vascular diseases, including pulmonary hypertension (PH), chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH), and acute pulmonary embolism (PE). In addition to its emphasis on the highest quality of patient care, the Program is a major training and research facility.

Led by Richard Channick, MD and Rajan Saggar, MD, our Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program consists of a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, research nurses and staff who are experts in:

  • Congenital Heart Disease
  • Rheumatology

The advent of multiple therapies available for the disease has resulted in improved survival. These treatments can be highly complex and require intensive, ongoing follow-up, all of which are available through the UCLA Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program.
