The paper “Prostate Cancer Detection and Segmentation in Multi-Parametric MRI Via CNN and Conditional Random Field” by Ruiming Cao, et al. was presented and selected as the runner-up for ISBI 2019 best paper award at the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging in April 2019.
Ruiming Cao is currently a second-year graduate student in computer science at UCLA, working on multi-parametric MRI analysis at the UCLA Magnetic Resonance Research Lab, advised by Kyung Hyun Sung, Ph.D., an assistant professor of Radiology, and co-advised by Fabien Scalzo, Ph.D., an assistant professor of Computer Science, Neurology, and Electrical and Computer Engineering.
