About Iris Cantor Center at UCLA
The UCLA Iris Cantor Center for Breast Imaging is dedicated to promoting women's health through early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. In 1987, the Iris Cantor Center took a national leadership role by becoming the first mammography facility in this country to be certified by the American College of Radiology Mammography Accreditation Program. Located at one of the nation's leading university medical centers, the Center currently includes three digital mammography rooms, two state-of-the-art dedicated breast ultrasound rooms, a stereotactic breast biopsy room and a reception area, dressing rooms and a patient consultation room. UCLA now has the first completely digital facilities in California, and is among the 8% of totally digital mammography facilities in the United States.
