Dr. Ali Khademhosseini has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC), the country’s highest honor for achievement in the arts, social sciences and sciences. The Induction Ceremony will be held in November in Ottawa.
Dr. Ali Khademhosseini has been nominated and elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering (IAMBE). This honor is in recognition of his distinguished contributions to and leadership in the field of medical and biological engineering at an international level.

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of J. Paul Finn, MD, Professor of Radiology, Medicine and Biomedical Physics, Radiology/Cardiovascular Imaging, University of California, Los Angeles to its College of Fellows. Dr. Finn was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for "seminal contributions to Cardiac and Vascular MRI, 4-D Cardiac MRI in Children and remote controlled MRI."
M. Albert Thomas, Ph.D. was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for seminal contributions on localized multi-dimensional MR Spectroscopic imaging of human tissues in vivo. In addition, Dr. Thomas has been elected to chair the 61st Experimental NMR Conference (ENC) in Baltimore, MD (March 8-13, 2020)
