Luca F. Valle, MD
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Valle graduated from Occidental College with a BA in Biology. After college, he traveled to Indonesia as a Fulbright Scholar, which reinforced his interest in a career of service, patient care, and education. While in medical school at Dartmouth, he had the opportunity to participate in a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where he gained valuable experience in clinical and translational research methods in oncology. Now at UCLA, his research interests include predicting and mitigating radiation toxicity, clinical informatics, global oncology, and health services research with an emphasis on healthcare disparities.
