Dr. Li Zhou is a hospitalist who practices at Providence St John's. He is board certified in internal medicine with a focus on quality improvement, patient safety, and medical wellness.
Dr. Zhou received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency at Washington University in St Louis. He was named Chief Resident of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the St Louis VA and Washington University in St Louis. During his residency, he received the National ACP Resident Research Award for the development of a novel prognostic score for patients with Graft-vs-Host Disease. He has served as a medical/research consultant and for the telehealth company Epharmix. Dr. Zhou moved to Los Angeles in 2018 and began his career as a hospitalist at UCLA.
When not in the office, Dr. Zhou enjoys playing tennis and teaching medical students at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
