Dr. Rachel Sirignano received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from UCLA and her medical doctorate from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at UC Irvine-CHOC where she served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Emory University. Due to her interest in pediatric cardiac critical care medicine, she completed an Advanced Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship at Emory University in partnership with the Sibley Heart Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Associate Director for Pediatric ECMO services at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.
Dr. Sirignano's research interests include tandem extracorporeal support systems including CRRT and therapeutic apheresis for patients on ECMO.
Dr. Sirignano is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.
