The Office of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) provides consultation and training services, develops and monitors safety programs and procedures and responds to health and safety service requests.
In addition, the Office of Environmental Health & Safety ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local health and safety and environmental regulations and standards. EH&S has oversight responsibility for fire and life safety, hazardous materials use and disposal, general safety and ergonomics, environmental compliance and supports Emergency Management, Utilities and Security related activities.
To develop, maintain, and promote policies, procedures and programs necessary to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff, faculty, patients and visitors.
