The UCLA Health Ambulatory Safety Division is a branch of the UCLA Health Office of Environmental Health & Safety. The Ambulatory Safety Division is responsible for developing and maintaining environmental health and safety related programs, training and other resources to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations for ambulatory clinical operations. Our mission is to provide managers and employees with the knowledge and tools that will empower them to create and maintain a safe & healthy environment of care for employees, patients and guests.
The UCLA Health Ambulatory Safety Division has oversight over all FPG managed and department based clinics that are not under the hospital's license. These non-hospital based clinics are required to participate in and comply with the applicable UCLA Health Ambulatory Safety programs, plans and policies.
