UCLA Connected Health Video Visits
Video visits provide a secure way for you to virtually connect with your doctor, when appropriate, without the hassle of driving into the office, hospital or clinic. All you need is an internet connection and access to a device with video and audio capabilities, such as a computer, tablet or smartphone. You can have a real-time, face-to-face discussion with your doctor just as you would during an office visit.
Connected Health Video Visits
Here’s a look at some of the things video visits allow you to do from the comfort of your home:
Diagnosis: Discuss symptoms with your doctor, and when possible, receive a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Treatment: Check in with your doctor on the effectiveness of a treatment plan, including medication concerns.
Consultations and second opinions: Consult with our world-renowned specialists, including surgeons, cardiologists and oncologists. For instance, you can remotely connect with a UCLA surgeon who has developed a treatment plan based on MRI or X-ray results that were electronically sent to him or her.
Recovery: Check in with your surgeon or primary care physician regarding your post-surgical recovery.
