WHAT:
Latino youth in the greater East Los Angeles region could be particularly impacted by methamphetamine abuse due to political, economic and social inequalities. "Methamphetamine Abuse in Youth" is a town hall meeting featuring a panel of professionals, community leaders and community members who will address this issue and discuss resources that can be used to combat it.
The event is sponsored by the UCLA Youth Meth Treatment Study, the Latino Scholastic Achievement Corp. and the Wall–Las Memorias Project.
