Dear Men’s Clinic client,
First, thank you for your understanding and doing your part to stay healthy, fit and safe during this unprecedented time in modern history. The Men’s Clinic UCLA remains open but with some access restrictions. UCLA Health and The Men’s Clinic are at the forefront of providing mission-driven care to our community. As of March 18, 2020, The Men’s Clinic has suspended elective surgeries to allow diversion of health care resources to the frontline of fighting this pandemic. We will update you as this situation remains fluid. Men whose surgeries have been cancelled and those whose surgeries were scheduled will be the first to have their procedures performed once we return to normal operations.
The Men’s Clinic is open for office visits on a limited basis to keep our waiting rooms as empty as possible. To that end, we have opened access to telemedicine visits, which our staff will be happy to discuss with you when you call for an appointment. We have 5 physicians and 2 advanced health care providers staffing these visits to ensure access to excellent remote men’s health care. These visits can be billed through your insurance just like a regular office visit. This will allow you to have prescriptions refilled, laboratory tests ordered and make sure we can keep you healthy and optimized during this disruption in normal services. Our staff is working diligently to make sure you have access to our services but please understand our phone call volume is higher than ever. Thank you for your patience.
We are moving forward with regularly scheduled office procedures such as vasectomy and Xiaflex but also are flexible to reschedule. We are especially sensitive to our men over 65 who should be on voluntary quarantine per the State of California.
Thank you again for being a part of The Men’s Clinic at UCLA. We appreciate your entrusting our team with your care. We look forward to resuming normal operations as soon as it is safe and feasible.
