Dr. Jesse Mills, Associate Clinical Professor of Urology
Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time in modern history. Guidance from health authorities is now allowing us to safely offer elective procedures, and in response, The Men’s Clinic (TMC) is ramping up. We have begun scheduling elective surgery and are taking care of the men scheduled for surgery during our closure. Over the next few months, we will attempt to return to a full OR schedule adhering to guidance from UCLA Health, the City of Los Angeles and the State of California.
TMC is open for new patient visits. The clinic has implemented the most effective infection prevention policies and has new scheduling processes to keep our waiting rooms safe, with plenty of empty space for social distancing. We currently are offering all services and taking all appointment types. In addition, we still offer video visits for men that would rather have an office visit without coming to the clinic.
TMC also welcomes men from all over the country to our telemedicine (video visit) platform. Over the last 2 months, the providers at TMC have successfully treated men with low testosterone, erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer related sexual dysfunction and premature ejaculation via telemedicine appointments. Additionally, men have found scheduling their vasectomy and vasectomy reversal consultations via video visits has worked really well. Now, a man can establish care remotely via telemedicine and come to Los Angeles for one visit to have their vasectomy or vasectomy reversal.
Thank you for being a valuable client of The Men’s Clinic at UCLA and I look forward to welcoming you in.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jesse Mills
