If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please contact us at [email protected].
We are excited to share that the RFJ Underrepresented Resident Mentorship Program (URMP) has begun! This mentorship model is focused on guiding Black urology residents on their training and future career.
Mentor information will be uploaded to the platform so that we can place you with a mentee with whom you have something in common. We ask that you share the following information with us:
Once we upload this information, residents will be able to request to contact you. We will try to pair mentors with mentees based on interests/background/stated needs. We will then set up the resident-mentor pairs and establish a connection.
We anticipate that residents will want someone to talk to about career advice and/or navigating residency.
You can be in contact as often as you would like, but we do ask that you check in at least 3 times per year. Residents are often afraid to bother us and may need a nudge to truly take advantage of the mentorship we are offering.
