Dr. Vito Rocco is a nephrologist who practices in Ventura. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, and handles all aspects of general nephrology, including plasmapheresis and follow-up care after kidney transplant. He is also a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Rocco received his medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and nephrology fellowships at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Before joining UCLA in 2018, Dr. Rocco practiced for 30 years at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. During that time, he also taught medical students, interns and residents as an assistant clinical professor at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
When he’s not working, Dr. Rocco enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with his wife and two sons, who both live in the Los Angeles area.
