Dr. Cohen has distinguished himself on many levels in gynecologic cancer research. His research interests include the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer and patient centered outcomes in gynecologic oncology. She focused on these topics during her residency training and also volunteered with the Student Wellness Program at Mark Twain Middle School and at the Venice Family Clinic. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Shaffer is originally from Richmond, Virginia, and has loved her transition to Southern California.
