Sue Yang, Ph.D currently consults and helps multi-national companies develop international strategies, especially in China. After nearly two decades in banking, Sue held various leadership positions at Bank of America and East West bank. As Senior Vice President at Bank of America Sue led the strategic investment of the company in China Construction Bank which generated billions of investment gains for Bank of America. She was Executive Vice President with East West Bank before she left in 2013 to pursue her other career interests.
She earned her Ph.D in Economics with a minor in Statistics from North Carolina State University. Prior to that, she was an assistant professor at Southwest University of Finance and Economics in Chengdu, China from 1988 to 1990.
