Kristi is Principal of Mullin Barens Sanford Financial, a national consulting firm specializing in executive benefit planning. Kristi is based in the Los Angeles headquarters, where she is responsible for new business development. Before moving to her current post, Kristi served as Mullin's Chief Operating Officer. In her new role, she builds on 15 years of developing strategic client relationships. With particular expertise in life insurance benefits and products, she consults with clients from a variety of industries on executive benefit strategy and design.
Kristi was responsible for the initial design and implementation of MIDAS, an Internet-based system that monitors and administers non-qualified executive benefit programs for Mullin's clients. Kristi continues to provide input and direction for the design and implementation of new e-business opportunities.
A frequent seminar speaker, Kristi has made presentations at many life insurance conferences. She also has published articles on executive benefits and life insurance in The Journal of Compensation and Benefits, The Journal of Accountancy, Director's Monthly, and The CPA Journal.
Kristi serves on the United Way of Greater Los Angeles Board of Directors and is a member of its Campaign Committee and Alexis de Tocqueville Society. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Orange County and serves on the Leadership Council of the University of California, Santa Barbara. She received nominations for Philanthropist of the Year and Executive of the Year for the 2003 Los Angeles Business Journal Women Making a Difference Awards.
Kristi graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences.
