Scientific Interests

Dr. Barbara Berman's research focuses on tobacco prevention, education and cessation among women, high risk adolescents and young adults, low-income multi-ethnic populations and deaf youth. Berman also works on developing effective cancer prevention and control programming for deaf youth and adults, as well as for health professionals.
