Your UCLA Health team should clearly explain what you can expect during your appointment, listen to your concerns and answer all of your questions. They should support you in your health care journey and help you achieve your health goals. Our doctors, nurses and other health care staff are committed to providing exceptional care.

Reporting an unsafe experience, incident or assault:
If you’ve suffered an unsafe experience, incident or assault, please contact UCLA’s Title IX Office for immediate help at 310-206-3417.
The Title IX Office is responsible for UCLA’s compliance with Title IX, a Federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. The Title IX law includes rules and procedures to prevent and respond to gender discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence and other forms of sex-based misconduct. The Title IX Office is the designated office to investigate such claims filed against any member of the campus community including all UCLA Health hospitals and office clinics.
Reporting discrimination or harassment:
If you believe that you have experienced discrimination or harassment based upon any protected category please contact UCLA’s Civil Rights Office (“CRO”).
CRO ensures that UCLA and UCLA Health remains in compliance with federal and state law and applicable UC policy concerning protections under Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and equal employment opportunity and affirmative action obligations.

Protected categories include; race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender expression, gender identity, gender transition status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, medical condition (cancer-related or genetic characteristics), genetic information (including family medical history), ancestry, marital status, age, sexual orientation, citizenship, or service in the uniformed services, including protected veterans.
