Dr. Nadereh Purat's research focuses on assessing disparities in access to care of underserved populations, examining the role of health insurance markets, socioeconomic factors such as immigration and English language proficiency, and the role of the organization of the health care system within which care is obtained. Pourat has extensive experience in design and implementation of surveys of professionals and is on the adult technical advisory committee for the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS).
