Scientific Interests

Dr. Nanette DeBruhl is interested in using different imaging modalities for the evaluation of breast implants. She and her colleagues, Drs. David Gorczyca and Christina Ahn, are recognized leaders in the development of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and breast sonography for the evaluation of silicone breast implants. DeBruhl is also evaluating MRI for breast tumor diagnosis. This work is grant and donor supported. DeBruhl is a member of a consortium of radiologists from major academic departments applying to the National Cancer Institute for funding of a multicenter study on MRI of the breast.
