Scientific Interests

Dr. Yvonne Flores' primary areas of interest are cervical and liver cancer. She uses a transdisciplinary approach to research to solve complex public health problems. She is also involved in several binational collaborations that bring together researchers and students from UCLA with investigators from institutions in Mexico. One of the focuses of her research is on reducing health disparities among Latinos and other minority groups.
