Scientific Interests

Dr. Anthony Wang's research focus is on designing and translating rational combinatorial strategies into clinical trials specifically for pediatric brain tumors. Researchers are only now beginning to understand the unique nature of many of these pediatric brain tumor types, and so Wang's laboratory explores many different aspects of these entities. Ongoing projects include development of animal models that reflect the molecular genetic characteristics of these tumors, multi-modal immunotherapeutic strategies that target these specific characteristics and epigenetic mechanisms of treatment resistance.
