The UCLA Head and Neck Cancer Program (HNCP) is dedicated to providing comprehensive and customized care for people with benign (not cancer) or malignant (cancer) tumors of the head and neck.
We are one of the nation’s most-active head and neck cancer treatment centers, with more than 50,000 patient visits completed each year, giving us a remarkable depth of expertise and experience. Our experience treating such a large group of patients with a wide range of conditions, and the specialized skills of our faculty and cancer care support teams allow us to offer the most specialized and advanced evaluation and treatment pathways for patients with head and neck tumors.
Delivering personalized care means we consider each patient’s condition, medical background and unique medical and social circumstances to ensure that all appropriate treatment options are explored, and that the quality of life is maintained during and after treatment. This means we tailor our treatment program to meet the individual needs of each patient. We take a team approach in order to deliver the most-advanced treatments while minimizing side effects.
