Breast Cancer Partnerships

Breast cancer survivors sitting together

Through multiple programs, we seek to enhance outcomes for breast cancer patients by helping to coordinate services that are tailored to this population and its unique needs.

Project Connect Online

You may be eligible to participate, if:

  • You have been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer
  • You live in the Los Angeles or Orange County
  • You are willing and able to attend a three-hour workshop held at a location near you

UCLA Research Study for Young Women Survivors of Breast Cancer

Are you a young survivor of breast cancer? Would you like to consider participating in a research study that focuses on wellness after breast cancer? UCLA is conducting a study to examine two group programs for young breast cancer survivors:

  • Mindfulness meditation classes
  • Survivorship education classes

We would like to compare these two group programs on meeting the common needs of young survivors. Classes will meet for six weeks and are held at UCLA. We will also ask you to come to UCLA for three in-person appointments throughout the duration of the study.

You may be eligible to participate, if:

  • You were diagnosed with breast cancer at age 50 or younger, and
  • Are within five years of your diagnosis

The Wisdom Study

We need your help! Join the Wisdom study and help end mammogram screening confusion. Partner with University of California medical researchers in a study designed to end the confusion about when to start and how often to have a mammogram.

  • Learn about your personal risk for breast cancer
  • Receive genomic results for free
  • Help us clarify mammogram guidelines for ourselves, our sisters, our daughters and future generations

About the study

  • It's simple. Participation can mostly be done from home, and there are no additional medical visits required.
  • It's safe. Your health is our top priority. Everyone in the study receives high quality care.
  • It's scientific. Team up with medical researchers to discover the best mammogram guidelines.

You may be eligible to participate, if:

  • You are a woman 40 to 74 years of age, and
