Donate to the Christofk Lab
Heather Christofk, PhD, is a renowned biochemist, and professor in the department of Biological Chemistry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
During her career, Dr. Christofk has made breakthrough discoveries in the fields of cancer and metabolism, leading to several new drugs, and new drug candidates, that are benefiting patients today.
A rising star, Dr. Christofk has received numerous honors for her research, including the prestigious NIH Director's New Innovator Award.
As one of the leading scientists in her field, Dr. Christofk’s current research portfolio has received highly competitive funding from the NIH, as well as private groups.
Without an immediate infusion of funds, the breadth of the lab’s work, some of which is just months away from yielding potentially groundbreaking discoveries, will be negatively impacted -- leading to devastating delays. To continue and expand the work of the Christofk lab, philanthropy up to $1 million is being pursued, to ultimately benefit patients and families across the country and beyond.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of individuals and families facing cancer!
