Scientific Interests

Dr. Na is a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and the Director of the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology and Neural Tumors Program at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. Inspired by his patients and families, he decided to pursue a Ph.D. in Molecular and Medical Pharmacology. Dr. Marco Giovannini, Professor-in-Residence, Department of Head and Neck Surgery and internationally recognized for his work in cancer predisposition syndromes, serves as his primary mentor, where Dr. Na is seeking to elucidate the genetic underpinnings of neural tumors.
