Limited extramural funding opportunities are provided below as a courtesy to UCLA Health JCCC members. For an opportunity to be included on this list, it must be a cancer-relevant Limited Submission Opportunity (LSO). LSOs for NIH Administrative Supplements responsive to the UCLA Health JCCC’s Support Grant, P30CA016042, are also included on this list. Submission instructions are noted below.

V Foundation 2026 Adult All-Star Translational Grant
Translational research is a key component of the research continuum, advancing basic laboratory discoveries toward clinical use, ultimately improving human health. The All-Star Translational grant is a reinvestment in the most exceptional prior V Foundation grantees and their most innovative ideas. This grant supports high-risk, high-reward, transformative projects that will have a significant impact on our understanding and/or treatment of cancer. This grant is restricted to adult cancer research in the preclinical or translational space, with a focus on bench-to-bedside strategies.

V Foundation 2026 Translational Adult Cancer Grant
This grant is restricted to adult cancer research in the preclinical or translational space, with a focus on bench-to-bedside strategies. Research on ANY adult cancer type is eligible. Applicants may propose cancer research projects that:
- Move a novel strategy from the laboratory into a human clinical trial, or
- Use specimens from a clinical trial to test hypotheses, develop biomarkers, or establish mechanisms
