Scientific Interests
Dr. Paul Weiss and his students have developed new techniques to expand the applicability and chemical specificity of scanning probe microscopies, to measure spatiotemporal distributions of signaling molecules and to enable high-throughput transformation of stem cells. They have applied these and other tools to the study of the brain and neurodegenerative disorders, the microbiome, blood diseases and cancer.
