The Pediatric Bone & Soft Tissue Sarcoma Center is part of UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and the UCLA Sarcoma Center, one of the three busiest sarcoma centers in the country. The Pediatric Sarcoma Center at UCLA is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children and young adults who have been diagnosed with bone or soft tissue cancers. Patients with sarcomas often require a combination of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery for treatment. To provide such a multidisciplinary approach, each individual case is discussed with the multitude of experts readily available within the center. Members of the team include physicians from Pediatric Oncology, Medical Oncology, Orthopedic Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Pediatric Surgery, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Radiation Oncology, and Musculoskeletal Pathology, as well as specialists in nursing, social work, psychology, physical therapy and nutrition. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient.

The  UCLA Pediatric Sarcoma Center is at the forefront of cancer discoveries, and is dedicated to furthering research to better treat and cure sarcomas. The program is currently one of the centers participating in the Sarcoma Alliance Research through Collaboration (SARC) global network, a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and support of clinical trial research for the prevention, treatment and cure of sarcomas. We are also a member of the Children's Oncology Group, and can enroll patients on national clinical trials. Such participation in clinical research efforts allow us to provide patients and families with access to both expert, state-of-the-art care as well as clinical trial options.
