UCLA Breast Program

Our mission at the UCLA Breast Program is to bring the most comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients, and to develop future medicine in order to end the suffering of women and men with breast cancer.

The UCLA Breast Centers are designed for women and men who have breast concerns such as an abnormal breast imaging study, seeking surgical treatment and/or are newly diagnosed with breast cancer. We understand how difficult this time can be and offer a unique, streamlined approach to breast cancer care that is designed to ease your concerns, while meeting your health care needs.

Patients who are newly diagnosed with breast cancer often feel frightened and overwhelmed. They naturally have many questions about their diagnosis and face several important decisions, including where to seek the best care. With the support and guidance of our Patient Coordinator, who acts as an advocate and point of contact, patients have the option to meet with our expert breast care team during an initial clinic visit. By the time the patient leaves, the patient will have a complete evaluation, surgery date if needed and personalized plan of care.

Because UCLA is one of the world’s leading academic medical centers where many of the current treatment standards were developed, patients can feel confident that they are receiving the highest quality of care to produce the best outcomes, using the most advanced medical, surgical and radiation techniques available. It’s everything a patient could imagine and expect from one of the recognized leaders in healthcare- UCLA.
