Emi Kamiya, MBA, serves as the Administrative Director over Hematologic Malignances, Cellular Therapy, Cancer Adolescent and Young Adult, Nuclear Medicine, and Inpatient Dialysis Programs. The Administrative Director of Hematologic Malignances, Cellular Therapy, Cancer Adolescent and Young Adult, Nuclear Medicine, and Inpatient Dialysis Programs works to operationalize clinical goals and vision, provide accountability in developing, driving, and deploying strategies, and is responsible for the administration of the programs at UCLA Health.

Emi has been with UCLA since 2010. Previously, Emi served as the Administrator over UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica in Operations. In this previous role, Emi provided strategic leadership to management to ensure equitable distribution of resources and delivery of high quality, cost-effective health care and efficient management of staff in accordance with goals, objectives, policies, and applicable regulatory agency rules and regulations. Emi founded Santa Monica’s first hospital-wide Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC) in 2016. She has a passion for the patient experience and fulfilling UCLA Health’s Mission and Vision to provide patient centric care.
