Garlic Sesame Soba Noodles

  • 1 (8 ounce) packages of soba noodles 
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced 
  • 1 Tbs grated ginger 
  • 1 Tbs sesame oil 
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce 
  • ¼ tsp chili paste (or to taste)  
  • 3-4 stalks of yu choy (or broccolini or bok choy), chopped 
  • 1 stalk green onion, sliced 
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


  1. Cook soba noodles according to package instructions (usually boil for 7-8 minutes) 
  1. In a bowl, mix the garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, and chili paste together 
  1. In a pan, add yu choy (or vegetable of choice) first, then add cooked noodles with sauce and green onions. Cook for a minute while mixing the ingredients 
  1. Top noodles with sesame seeds and serve
