Our team is committed to supporting and guiding you and your loved ones throughout your cancer journey. As part of our commitment, we are passionate about helping you explore your care options if you have terminal cancer. We work closely with you to make the most of your final weeks and months.

Our team is also available to help you understand your end-of-life options, which may include the California End of Life Option Act (EOLOA). The EOLOA allows a terminally ill adult to end their life with an aid-in-dying medication. Participating in this option is voluntary for both patients and physicians.

At the Simms/Mann Center, we understand that the decision to take an aid-in-dying drug is deeply personal. Our compassionate team supports you, your family, and your loved ones as you consider this option. We are by your side at every step to explain the process and answer your questions so you will have the knowledge you need to make an informed decision.

Please visit the  UCLA Health EOLOA page for detailed information and frequently asked questions. If you would like to discuss the EOLOA with a Simms/Mann Center team member, please call us at 310-794-6644.
