Thank you for visiting the website of the University of California, Los Angeles Multicampus Program in Infectious Diseases. We are extremely proud of our program and are excited for you to explore our website and learn about the exceptional training opportunities we provide across five hospitals in the greater Los Angeles area. We take great pride in being able to provide clinical training in a variety of patient care settings, with faculty who are committed to excellence in patient care, bedside teaching, and research mentorship. Above all, we are committed to having a responsive group of faculty who are invested in training the next generation of clinicians and researchers in the field of Infectious Diseases (ID).
We are fortunate to be able to do what we do in a city with amazing weather, easy access to outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and surfing, and a world-class, multicultural art, music and food scene.
We also offer Advanced Clinical Training in Transplant (ID) Infectious Diseases, open to those who have completed at least 2 years of an ACGME-accredited ID fellowship program. Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center has one of the highest volume solid organ transplantation programs in the country, and offers an ideal setting to develop the expertise needed to launch a successful career in Transplant ID.
Our goal is to prepare fellows to be outstanding clinicians and clinician-investigators in Infectious Diseases. Our graduating fellows are highly successful at obtaining the jobs of their choice, ranging from academic clinical medicine, academic research, private practice, Kaiser, and public health, among others. We hope you will explore our website and consider our program for your training!
