Dr. Master is a Southern California native. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Boston University in Boston, MA, and her medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, MO. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA and her Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the combined Harbor-UCLA and City of Hope program. She was chosen as Chief Fellow during her final year of fellowship.
Since joining the UCLA faculty Dr. Master has been active in the breast cancer treatment program and is the primary physician seeing patients in the High Risk Breast Program in Santa Monica, CA.
In addition to receiving formal training in her specialty, Dr. Master is board certified in Integrative Medicine. She is well versed in the evidence based practices of anti-cancer nutrition, herbs, supplements, yoga, meditation, and acupuncture. She regularly combines these complementary therapies with conventional treatments to provide a personalized and holistic approach to cancer care.
