Dr. Daniel Eshtiaghpour is a gastroenterologist who practices in Encino. He has clinical expertise in gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disorders (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), functional gastrointestinal disorders (irritable bowel syndrome), liver diseases, colon cancer screening and GERD.
Dr. Eshtiaghpour received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He then completed his gastroenterology fellowship at UCLA, during which time he researched outcomes, prognosis and risk factors for hematochezia in colon cancer and polyps alongside Dr. Dennis Jensen, the associate director of CURE: Digestive Diseases Research Center. He received his undergraduate degree from UCLA, and majored in psychobiology.
Dr. Eshtiaghpour is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
