Dr. Yang received her BS, MS in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering (more specifically fast magnetic resonance spectroscopy imaging) from Columbia University. She finished her post-doctoral research training and medical physics clinical residency at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center before joining UCLA Radiation Oncology faculty in 2011. Dr. Yang's research interests include volumetric modulated arc therapy, advanced MR imaging techniques and its applications in radiation therapy (RT): functional MRI in MRgRT, cardiac toxicity study for MRgRT, MR only simulation for RT.
