About

Dr. George Pan is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician who practices in Santa Clarita. He is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He specializes in treating pain conditions that have not responded to conservative therapy with minimally invasive procedures and an approach that combines various groups of medications—called multimodal analgesic therapies—for pain relief. Some of these procedures include fluoroscopic guided injections, rhizotomy, neurolysis, spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty and intrathecal pump therapy.

Dr. Pan most commonly treats patients with back pain, joint pain or neck pain, or pain related to sciatica, cancer or failed back surgery. He also treats patients with neuropathic pain and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. He most commonly performs lumbar and cervical epidural steroid injections; lumbar and cervical facet medical branch blocks and radiofrequency ablations; and shoulder, hip and knee injections.

Dr. Pan is from Atlanta, Georgia. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, and completed his undergraduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He completed a surgical internship at Loma Linda University Medical Center and his anesthesiology residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. He finished his subspecialty training in pain medicine at UCLA, after which he stayed on as clinical faculty.

Dr. Pan is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the California Society of Anesthesiologists.
