Samantha Levy, PhD, is a clinical psychologist who received her PhD from Georgia State University in the Child and Family specialty track. After her clinical child internship at UCLA, she obtained her postdoctoral training with the UCLA Pediatric Pain Program. Dr. Levy works with families, individual children/teens/young adults, and parents. She helps families understand the connection between physical pain and emotional difficulties (mind/body connection). She guides parents in facilitating their child’s difficult, courageous journey back to functioning more fully in the world again. Dr. Levy runs parent groups and writes a parenting blog for Creative Healing for Youth in Pain (CHYP). She runs a teen group and a caregiver group for Los Angeles Dysautonomia (LADN). Dr. Levy has also been a guest on webinars and podcasts on the topic of chronic pain in youth.
