Dr. Mindy Ross is board-certified in pediatric respiratory medicine and clinical informatics. After earning her medical degree and completing her residency and chief residency year in pediatrics at UC San Diego (UCSD), Dr. Ross went on to obtain a Master's in Business Administration from the UCSD Rady School of Management. She then completed her pediatric respiratory medicine fellowship at UCSD, partially supported by a National Library of Medicine (NLM) training grant fellowship for research in clinical informatics; earning a Masters in Clinical Research with a focus on clinical informatics. Her clinical interests include seeing patients with asthma, chronic lung disease, cough, and quality improvement. Her primary research interest is use of the patient portal and electronic health record for clinical decision support to improve asthma care during clinic. At UCLA she is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with adjunct positions within the Biomedical Informatics Program at the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) and the Physician Informaticist (PI) group. She attends on the inpatient pediatric wards as a consultant at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and UCLA Medical Center Santa Monica. She provides outpatient clinical care at the Children's Health Center (200 Medical Plaza, Westwood) and in Santa Monica (1260 15th St, Suite 1024).
