Dr. Mindy K. Ross is board-certified in pediatric respiratory medicine and clinical informatics. After earning her medical degree and completing her residency and chief residency year in pediatrics at UC San Diego (UCSD), Dr. Ross went on to obtain a Master's in Business Administration from the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego. She then completed her pediatric respiratory medicine fellowship at UCSD, during which she was partially supported by a National Library of Medicine (NLM) training grant fellowship for research in clinical informatics. She has earned a Masters in Clinical Research with a focus on clinical informatics. Her clinical and research interests include obesity and its effect on the airway, asthma phenotypes, utilization of the electronic health record for research and clinical decision support. She recently joined the Division of Pulmonology at UCLA as an Assistant Professor with an adjunct position with the Biomedical Informatics Program at the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) and as a Physician Informaticist (PI). She attends on the inpatient pediatric wards as a consultant at Mattel Children’s Hospital and UCLA Medical Center Santa Monica. She provides outpatient clinical care at the Children’s Health Center (200 Medical Plaza, Westwood) and in Santa Monica (12th and Wilshire, Suite 202).
