Denise Heady, MA

Denise oversees communications and media relations for the UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she covers both the clinical cancer program as well as basic and clinical translational research. With over a decade of experience in healthcare communications, she has developed and executed strategic communications initiatives for prominent cancer research and treatment institutions. She earned her master’s degree in communications research from California State University, Fullerton, and is passionate about amplifying the impact of innovative cancer research and care.
