Application Process

Application Process

Residency applications are submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We require that applicants register with the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) and submit the appropriate application materials. Our program number is 3000511034.

The following are the required supporting application materials to the ERAS Common Application Form:

  • USMLE Transcript (scores)
  • Medical School Transcripts
  • Photograph
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Letters of Recommendation (3 minimum)
  • Dean’s Letter / MSPE

Medical Graduates from International Medical Schools are eligible to apply. We provide a clinical J-1 visa sponsored by ECFMG when applying to an ACGME accredited training program at UCLA. For questions on DGSOM visa policies, please go to https://medschool.ucla.edu/visa-information.
