Dr. Cohen grew up in New Jersey as an avid Mets fan. He graduated Cum Laude from Yale University in 1991, with Special Distinction in Psychology. He then returned to New Jersey, where he graduated from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University, after which he completed his fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Cohen served for 10 years as the Assistant Team Physician for Rutgers University Sports Medicine, while also serving as an attending internist and primary care physician for Rutgers Health Services. Dr. Cohen is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Sports Medicine.
