About

Annie Zhang, M.D. is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine, Department of Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She received her B.A. from Harvard College in Biochemistry and M.D. from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, after which she completed her Internal Medicine residency followed by a Chief Resident year at UCLA. She was a full time hospitalist attending for two years at UCLA, during which she felt increasingly limited by the lack of effective Western therapies for many common symptoms and conditions, which led her to pursuing training in integrated medicine with the goal of applying a more holistic approach to hospitalized patients, fostering collaboration with colleagues in different specialties, and promoting health in addition to treating disease. Her professional interests include integrated medicine in the inpatient setting, stress reduction and wellness, medical education, bedside procedures, and web information development.
