Dr. Arielle Sommer is a general internist who practices in Westwood. She is board certified in internal medicine and sees both men and women. Her clinical interests include general internal medicine, preventive care and women’s health. She enjoys educating her patients and involving them in their health, and currently runs group classes for patients on prediabetes and chronic stress management.
Dr. Sommer received her medical degree from Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, graduating with highest distinction and induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed her internal medicine residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, where she completed certificate trainings in women’s health and quality and safety improvement.
Dr. Sommer is an instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is involved in various areas of education of both medical students and internal medicine residents.
