Dr. Bonnie Brooks is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Brooks specializes in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care and practices at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. She is the Director of Pediatric Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) for Mattel Children’s Hospital. Dr. Brooks is also a member of the Critical Care Transport Team and active in fellow and resident education. Her clinical and research interests include neurodevelopmental outcomes in congenital heart disease, neurocritical care, and long-term outcomes for pediatric ICU patients.
Dr. Brooks earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine and completed residency training in Pediatrics at UC Irvine/Children’s Hospital of Orange County, followed by two fellowships in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Pediatric Cardiology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Brooks is also a graduate of Duke University.
